Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for video production, sound, lighting, editing, captioning, and posting on the Mint's website or YouTube channel. Edit digital video taken from site, stock, and other platforms and display basic photo editing expertise. Identify unique stories to engage audiences across platforms, develop best practices from metrics, stay in line with trends and innovation, and coordinate with other team members. Work between educational videos and information videos, including requests from other departments, either intended for internal or external distribution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with video editing and production
  • Experience with video editing using Adobe Premiere
  • Experience with sound editing and mixing
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Twitter or Facebook
  • Knowledge of writing and style guidelines for caption work
  • Knowledge of photo editing, graphics, and 508 Compliance
  • Ability to manage an editing workflow through a full project life cycle
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Film, Photography, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or Visual Arts

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and After Effect
  • Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, other creative materials for websites
  • Experience with creating and managing responsive designs and WCMS templates
  • Experience in working with online games and animations in Flash to HTML5 conversion
  • Experience with mobile interface design
  • Experience with Unity Game Engine
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools, including Blender
  • Experience with C# language
  • Experience with mobile coding, testing, and compliance
  • Knowledge of design principles
